Thank You

Thanks to everyone for coming to support the basketball players in our class. We enjoyed playing basketball, eating pizza, and socializing. It was a great way to end the season!

The Geography Bee winners( From Left to Right): Samuel Kelly third place, Karly Adams second place, and Keaten Burns first place. Keaten took a test to see if he would be in the top one hundred students for the state bee on April 9, 2010. Congradulations to all the participants, they did a great job.

January 25th Newsletter

Please help your student to correct their work in Social Studies and Math by Friday of each week. After Friday, corrections will not be accepted. They need to correct the problems or questions they got wrong on a clean sheet of paper. Thank you so much for helping your student(s) reach their full potential.

Fundraising. . .
We will be selling concessions at the home basketball games on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26. If you can set up and work any of these games, let Alisa know.

New this week . . . .

  • Family night at Chick-fil-A January 28, 2010.
  • Work on your Science Fair
  • Spirit days Monday and Tuesday. Wear jeans/khakis with your OUS shirt to support the basketball team.
  • Pizza Party Tuesday after the game to celebrate the basketball player’s season.
  • $100.00 Deposit for Atlanta due January 28, 2010. If you are going with your child, we also need your deposit by January 28, 2010.

· Continue to check the changing school website at ouschool.com. This is also where you can look for school closings.
· Please sign the Monday Papers and review each paper with your child.
· Any work you want to correct for partial credit in Math or Social Studies, please turn it in by Friday!
· Pizza Party after the basketball game Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Please RSVP and send $10 per family by Monday.
· January 29, 2010 60% day.
· $100 Deposit due January 28, 2010 for every person going to Atlanta.

Another great week has finished. Congratulations to the winners of the Geography Bee: Keaten Burns first place, Karly Adams second place, and Samuel Kelly third place. All the students did well and I am very proud of them. I know the students will study hard for the Spelling Bee in February.
